I held an Oscar in my hand today. It was cool - also verrrry heavy. I was with a friend from work, visiting a video production company whose principals had earned the Documentary Feature Oscar in 1986 for their film on the life of Harvey Milk. On the shelf sat two Academy Awards and several Emmy awards. It was cool.

Tonight I took Moula on a walk up to Coit Tower. It was an incredibly beautiful evening, as low blue clouds became the expansive ceiling of the Bay, over clear skies and icy clear views that stretched from my vantage atop Telegraph hill out to the perimeter of the Bay. It was sweet
