The Wahington Post offers an excellent examination of some of the details behind Bush’s Iraqi funding request. My question is this: why does our “President” not offer any of the details to the American public himself? Personally when I heard him say $87 billion, I was completely floored. After reading this article, at least there appears to be some justification for the funds.
