my night life
Background: I have had the worst indigestion for the past three weeks or so. I eat several Papaya & Pineapple Enzyme tablets throughout the day to combat the burning that resides in the back of my throat. I asked my doctor about appropriate therapies and she recommended Maalox, which caused both Mom and Dad (almost in unison) to exclaim, “that has aluminum!”. So ixnay on the Maalox, leaving me with an imperfect remedy and a burning throat. I just deal. I dont eat spicy food, Im cutting out my lovely cuppa tea in the morning and Im eliminating the more acidic elements of my diet.
Point: Last night I had a dream in which a woman with dark hair and large blue eyes sat across from me. We were in a small room, separated by a low table covered with items youd find in a shrine: flowers, cards, amulets, candles, drawings, &c. We both sat on the floor and I gazed upon the woman, mesmerized by her large, brilliant eyes. She spoke to me. I do not remember her words or her voice, but I remember that she spoke to me about my pain. She showed me how to massage the charka beneath my solar plexus and told me that this would help. As I sat across from her I actually felt her hand in addition to my own, massaging the spot between my breasts. Later when I woke up I had no pain from my indigestion. I felt clear and free of the near constant companion of the last three weeks. She called the spot my “tazo chakra”, really the only words I recall from the dream. I did feel amazingly good this morning, but Im back to feeling the burning rawness of yore. Ill try the massage when I get home

yeah, so what’s the big deal? Papaya for stomach — and zinc lozenges for your throat. And if that doesn’t help, then coat your throat with Honey & Loquat syrup. It’s what stage actors use in L.A. when they have a sore throat but have to perform anyway.

hey, i think the fact that your dream told you how to dind your shakra is pretty freaking amazing. My dreams generally consist of self-indulgence and paranoia.
