Got this here gadget, see. Take it everywhurr. Buses, trains, cars … work, play, travel. I’m there, my gadget’s there. Like a friend, it is. Handy to keep. Better than a friend, really. Asks nuthin’ of me but to charge ‘er up every now’n agin. Thing is … thing is with gadgets like this’un - sooner or later, their shine dims. The polish fades, the facade cracks. For real, or just next to somethin’ newer, no what I mean? Heard it called somethin odd before, what was it … “planned obsolescense” yeah that’s it. So now I got my gadget, the thing I once loved so. Now they made a better ‘un. Shinier. More powerful. Worse - cheaper. Get ‘em while they’re hot.
