Travails

The past three point five weeks have been full of ups and downs. First, a voyage south for ArtWalk, a wonderful experience celebrating my mother’s burgeoning oil painting endeavors. Then home for a week. Then a wonderful week in Yosemite: a vacation so wonderful and ideal that it was hard to believe the perfection of the time, place, circumstance, and realization of the venture.

That bliss was balanced and subdued by the subsequent and quite serious troubles i have had with my car. My two-day trek to the dirty south was smooth and pleasant; but also punctuated by a serious automotive malfuncion. Between the two journeys: a malevolent virus that induced painful coughs, headaches, and nasal congestion. Upon each return to the ‘homeland’: my little miyouchie, wonderfully taken care of by my sweet cousin. And mostly unabated perfect weather wherever I’ve been. Yes, the highs and lows.
