an ode to eggs

oh the wonderful flexibility & charm of eggs
with bread
with tortillas
with cheese
with vegetables
you can make a plethora of delicious foods with eggs
some may decry their origin
from an orifice
adjacent to the anus
i say wash it
in hot, soapy water
then enjoy it
cooked, boiled, baked
broke or whole
the egg is a wonderful food
